Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American television show 24. Motion capture and voice work were also done for Tess in the Naughty Dog videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised there. She graduated in the year 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. In her early years she competed as an Irish dancer and a member the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching began her acting career as an actor on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then she went on to play guest roles on shows like Charmed as well as Killer Instinct, Charmed and Supernatural. From March 2007 through November 2007, she played the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. Her other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching has also been seen in a variety of guest roles on television shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli and Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she was an ongoing series regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed that Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased her character via Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7, 2012. Wersching was set to take on the character of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
