Bruce Willis

Musician and actor Bruce Willis is well known for his witty or sharp-edged characters, usually in stunning action films. Collectively, he has appeared in films with a budget over $2.5 billion dollars. Walter Bruce Willis, a West German-born actor, was born in Idar–Oberstein West Germany on March 19 1955, to Marlene Kassel (from Carneys Point), and David Andrew Willis (from New Jersey) who resided on a military base within the United States. The family moved to the U.S. soon after he was born. Willis was born in Penns Grove by his mother who worked for an institution, and his father who was a welder who was a factory worker and welder. Willis began to develop an interest in the drama arts while in high school. He was "discovered" when he worked in the cafe in a New York City cafe. Later, he appeared in various off-Broadway productions. While bartending one night and he was noticed by the casting director who was impressed by his persona and was in need of bartenders for a tiny film role. Willis auditioned for a range of roles in movies, but was not acknowledged. He finally got the role of David Addison, a private eye, along with Cybill Shepherd, in the romantic comedy show Moonlighting (1985). His humorous and wisecracking P.I. Some see it as a practice run to test Willis his role in Die Hard (1988), where he defeated an international gang of thieves from a Los Angeles skyscraper. In Die Hard 2 (1990) Willis reprised his role. The group of rebellious Special Forces soldiers is trying to bring back a corrupt South American general. They are set in Washington's Dulles International Airport. The film's excellent performance at the box office prompted a sequel to Die Hard with bloodshed (1995). This time, Samuel L. Jackson starred as a shrewd Harlem shop owner, who was accidentally forced to assist McClane during a terror attack on a hot New York City day.
