Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush The Big Time Rush, an
American pop group was founded in the year 2009. The group consists of Kendall
Schmidt, James Maslow and Logan Henderson. They signed their first contract
with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new
label. The group starred in the Nickelodeon television show of the identical
title, Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28th the 29th of 2009 to July
25, 2013. The pilot episode included "Big Time Rush" the group's
first promotional single. The band has released three albums, including BTR in
2010 and Elevate in 2011 and 24/Seven in the year 2013. The group in 2014 took
an indefinite break that ran through 2021. The group then returned to live
shows and then released "Call It Like I See It". Nickelodeon signed
Big Time Rush to an album deal in 2009, alongside its TV series, Big Time Rush.
Nickelodeon also teamed up with Columbia/Epic Label Group for production and
music that is original. The first single of the series, "Big Time
Rush", released on November 29, 2009. The announcement was made by
Nickelodeon the series first broadcast in the U.S. in November 2009, until it
was eventually released globally. The song was played in a trailer for the
series for one hour and is the show's opener. Promotional singles were also
made available by the show, including "City is Ours" (with Big Time
Rush) and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also covered the Play song
"Famous" and was written by the singer. The track was released to
iTunes on June 29 2010. Another track, "Halfway There", was released
to iTunes on April 27, 2010, after its premier in the series. The song quickly
became the first song to chart on Billboard Hot 100. Due to the digital sales
the track climbed to 93. On September 21 the 21st of September, 2010 Big Time
Rush released second single "Till I Forget About You" in order to
announce the debut album's release. The album, called BTR and launched on the
11th of October 10th, 2010. The album debuted at position 3 on the Billboard
200, selling 67,000 copies within the first week of its release.
