Will Ferrell
became famous as the lead actor in "Saturday Night Life". Then, he
appeared in numerous big-screen comedies like Elf, ' Anchorman and
"Talladega Nights. In 1967, in Irvine, California, Will Ferrell began his
career in comedy when he was an actor in the Los Angeles-based improv group the
Groundlings. After a seven-year run as a Saturday Night Life Cast Member,
Ferrell was one of the most renowned comedic actors in the industry by
releasing off-color films such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of
Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was also a co-founder of the video streaming
website Funny or Die and enjoyed great success in voice acting in animated
films like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell, born on July 16, 1967, in
Irvine, California. Will Ferrell is the eldest child of Righteous Brothers
keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), but he wasn't the student clown
during his time at University High School. Ferrell, who was quiet and serious
decided to leave his mark on the field where he set the school record for the
most field goals that he made. Even in the more comfortable surroundings of his
suburban home, Ferrell displayed little of the outrageous, funny expressions
that would later determine his career. "Very even-tempered, and very
casual," his mother recalled in an interview with Esquire. "You know
those little Matchbox cars? Will be arranging his Matchbox cars all by himself
and be content. The question would be "Do you want to go to Disneyland
today?" or "You want your cars lined up?" It's a hard discussion
for him to think about. Ferrell was not an ideal straight man however that
doesn't mean to say he wasn't. In his daily announcements via the PA system, a
glimpse into his comedy talents was revealed every day at high school. Ferrell
was a graduate in 1986 and attended the University of Southern California in
Los Angeles. There he joined Delta Tau fraternity to pursue an education as a
sports journalist.
